Additional User Choice Funding for Existing Worker Certificate III Training Contracts

From 1 September 2011, all existing worker trainees undertaking Certificate III qualifications will attract a User Choice subsidy, enabling this group of trainees to access more than 400 funded nationally recognised qualifications. The initiative will contribute to the State Government's commitment of an extra $194 million over the next six years to support an additional 100,000 training places.
 
Note that eligibility for User Choice funds applies only to existing worker trainees whose training contracts commence on or after 1 September 2011.
